If sightseeing is their thing, then the best place to go is the coast of Songdo, Busan. I arrived at my accommodation by the sea around sunset. The view of the sea as soon as I arrived was very beautiful. I felt like I was healed by the scenery itself. The next day, I rode a sea cable car with a glass floor, which was the best to see the beautiful sea view. And I went to a cafe with a view of the sea and had a cool and fun time. In the evening, I went for a walk on the sandy beach. It was nice to take a leisurely walk because there were a few people. And it was summer but the cool breeze made me feel good. It was a trip that made me feel relaxed because of my school life.

Songdo Beach dates back to 1913 and was supposedly a man-made beach. The entire area has developed into quite a tourist destination and was worth exploring for several days. This pristine beach abutting the Sea of Japan purportedly was the first public beach in Korea. We also enjoyed the nearby Songdo Skywalks, Cable Car and Suspension Bridge.

From what was learnt, the Songdo Beach is South Korea's first public beach dating way way back to the 1910s. Wow, that was certainly a long time ago. The place takes it name from a pine forest that used to envelop the entire area. Compared to the obviously boisterous Haeundae and Gwangali, Songdo seems to be the one suffering from the dreaded “Third Child Syndrome”, ie, being overlooked or neglected in comparison to their older siblings. Certainly that was the case when we were there on a Saturday, when entire stretch of the beach was populated by no more than 50 people. But that is not a bad thing because the serenity will be a welcome quality for those searching for a quiet spot under the sun. And, you have all the space in the world to choose that spot without stepping on another person's shoe. This is priceless.

If recharging is your thing, then the best place to go is Songdo Beach. It was winter when I went to Songdo Beach with my friend, there were no people than in summer. Songdo Beach is smaller than other beaches, so it was able to watch the waves calmly. And what’s more, there were many delicious cafes and restaurants around here. We found a cafe nearby that sells very delicious strawberry souffle cake, which is perfect if you’re feeling hungry. According to the information, there seems to be a cable car here, so if you come here, it would be good to look for it.

This is the oldest Busan beach originated in 1913 as a first public beach in Korea created by then Japanese occupants. This beautiful strip of land is nicely visible from the cable car. On an early morning in late August the beach was near empty but relaxing and pleasant, offering beautiful views.
