Pretty small musuem detailing Busan's history with free admission. OK for a 30 minute trip but you might be better off hitting a shopping area or the Busan Musuem of Modern Art if you want something more time consuming.

Unfortunately most of the exhibition halls were closed during my visit. But the museum has no admission fee and the park with some statues behind the museum is quite nice. Staff was friendly, information in english and chinese was available.

A museum is not one of the major attractions in Busan and history is probably not what a lot of visitors are here for, but if you have time, the Busan Museum has a nice collection that shows the history of the city and in...More

It was free entry, and I wondered why. Later I realised that a large part of the museum was closed for rebuilding, and that probably explained it. The few galleries that were open had some old sepia photographs of the city but little else. The...More

Half the museum is closed until 2017 and the half that is open is really not worth seeing Not a huge amount of articles to see and most of those that are on offer are behind glass - it really felt like a UK museum...More

The museum contains two exhibition rooms, one about the earliest history of the surroundings of Busan. The second is (or was) about the relationship with Japan. This exhibition is now closed and will not re open until 2017.
