Be aware that the Aqua duck portion of this tour closed down more than a year ago. I believe the trolleys are still available. And the Visitors Center at Quackenbush ssquare can provide a walking tour map

Actually pretty educational, fun, and the kids adored it. Albany is a pretty city when you are lead on a tour and can see it from the water. Visitors and locals alike deserve to try this tour, which includes some insight about the re-conditioning of the mighty, historic Hudson River too.

Albany - New York's State Capitol and greatly under advertised. Maybe that's the way NY State want it but it really is an amazing place. The architecture is lovely and a great way to see it all, and receive a commentary, is by taking an AquaDuck tour. Not only do you drive around the city in the AquaDuck vehicle but... More

The amphibious Aquaduck tour is a nice way to see Albany. We've done it many times! The guides are funny and informative. And it’s always a kick to enter the water on a wheeled vehicle. Unfortunately the amphibious tour will cease operation [vehicles have been sold to an out~of~state operation]. The last amphibious tour is Sunday, July 15, 2012. Sorry... More

The tour ran only limited times, but really was fun. The driver and tour guide were comical and the history was interesting. The trolley was not running the day we were there, but I think that the hop on hop off option would have been nice.

I live in Albany and still enjoy taking the trolley or aqua duck just for sightseeing. When we have out of town relatives or friends visit we make sure we spend one day out with this service to show historic sites or the view of Albany from the Hudson River. The people that own, operate and work at this business... More

Mom and I booked a visit to Albany Aqua Ducks, We arrived early and walked to the main building to find no one there. I called the number for reservations and no one answered. We were able to meet 3 people heading to the Quackenbush Square that was almost a half an hour walk from the main building. There was... More

The Aqua Duck tour offers a great way to experience downtown Albany's diverse architecture and history on land AND to enjoy a refreshing and inspiring water excursion on the Hudson as well. For all six of my family (three adults and three teens) the SPLASHDOWN transformation from bus to boat was a highpoint! (Recommended: I bought tickets online the night... More
