Get there early, the parking will fill up quick and then you have to park farther down the road. It will be one of the busiest high peaks for good reason... amazing views and length of the overall trip. You can easily get to summit...More

There were some areas which was a gradual uphill but in my opinion it was more often steep.

I use gps app Waze and searching for Cascade Trailhead brought us right there.
