I went to Praslin some time ago. I wanted to see the pearls, and although the place was closed, they opened it for me and my partner. No charge, I purchased a very rare string of pearls for myself, about $10,000, and the whole experience...More

Very nice to see how we get pearls and the raceways make for absorbing viewing. The jewellery is really first class and ultra modern, top workmanship.

This is located opposite Praslin airport. Basically its a small property where they are harvesting pearls. To be honest, my wife and I did not take the full tour but we could tell that it was probably not worth the while. Entry was only 50...More

Two tanks of Giant clams and a short explanation on pearl production plus a jewelry showroom. OK if you are passing but don't make a special journey.
