Perched on the Southern tip of Praslin
Aug. 2019
The beach had all but disappeared to high tide when we drove past so we continued on our journey to catch the ferry back to Mahe.

An excellent spot for snorkeling!
Apr. 2019 • Couples
If you have a car drive to Anse Consolation, there is a small car park in front.

I give this beach five stars. We came here twice, the best area for snorkeling.
It is not a lovely beach for swimming as there is only small sand but a perfect place for snorkeling! A lot of beautiful fish to see underwater.

The location is remote; the second time we came, we were alone the whole afternoon. Now and then tourist stops for a picture taking. As seen, it has rock formations which attract visitors.

Pleasant spot
Mar. 2019 • Couples
Nice little beach, which is often fairly quiet. Good views out to the ocean.

However, like most beaches on Praslin, put on plenty insect repellent. The sandflies can be really vicious and a good repellent, which must have DEET, is needed. We were advised by locals to use coconut oil, applied after you've put on sunscreen, but that simply is not good enough.

For the view, for the South of Praslin...
Apr. 2018
This tiny beach is a perfect picture of Seychelles beaches with beautiful rocks to enjoy alone. Unfortunately the swim is not always possible at low tide and not the best snorkeling. But it would be a pity to not take this road going to the South after Bay Ste Anne... this road is wonderful (be careful in the curves more than usually, the buses are crazy here !) and leave the touristic areas of the North... And it's a good option to pass isolated holidays on the island...
Enjoy another way of life here.

A spot with great views of the ocean

Well, the beach is scenic, there's reef barrier little away from the beach and hence offers pool like calm water

A spot with great views of the ocean

A spot with great views of the ocean (like anywhere on the island) though it can easily be seen from the road and the beach area has more rocks than beach sand.

This beach is just on roadside. While going to Fond Ferdinand from the airport side, we had seen this beach and had a photo stop here without knowing it's name.
We missed the tour at Fond Ferdinand that day and had to return on another day. We were looking for a beach with natural pool like calm water for our 2 years old daughter to enjoy. She was afraid of waves crashing on her while bathing but loved to dip in the calm water.
We asked our hotel staff, Josianne, for suggestion and she suggested this one and then we came to know the name of Anse Consolation. Checked on the map and realized that we had a photo stop here.
Well, the beach is scenic, there's reef barrier little away from the beach and hence offers pool like calm water close to the beach and that's the portion suitable for babies to enjoy. Not suitable for swimming for adults.
However, the beach is not clean. We found beer bottles on this beach and broken glass from the bottles in water also. So, had to be careful about not stepping on those accidentally and get our feet cut.
My daughter enjoyed it a lot and we too enjoyed the same. While returning, we got some nice shells also on this beach.
This is just on the road side and there's a place to park your car also. Buses also ply on this road and there's a bus stop just next to it. No shops or vendors on the beach but there's an Indian store just next to the bus stop and you can replenish your stock there.
