Didn’t get to swim here as this was a quick stop between Anse Soleil and intendance. Lovely stretch of beach with some shade and a restaurant at the south end. Bring on the south west coast, beautiful sunsets to be enjoyed here.

This is a lovely beach although there are a couple of slightly better ones on the island. It is very near Anse Intendance which is stunning. Regardless if you fancy trying somewhere a bit different try it out.

The Takamaka beach is in southwest Mahe, between the Intendance and Petit Anse beaches. It's more open to the ocean, therefore it performs bigger waves and stronger currents so beware of that. There's a small parking lot just by the road and further more spaces...More

We’re stayed in this beach ‘cause is near our house. Compared to others Mahe’s beaches there’re a lot of people. Water is deep few meters from the beach so is not recommended for family with kids. Landscape was what I imagined of Seychelles. Great beach!!

Nice beach close to the main road. In the evening (in september) there can be high tide and strong waves. There is no shadow in the afternoon as the sun is in the front. Without seaween in September.

We were looking for beaches that you can swim off and snorkel. This beach was very rough, although some people were swimming. I would say it is a good beach to stop by, enjoy the view and take pictures

During my vacation days in Seychelles I was stationed at the East Coast but I made a point to visit as many beaches as possible. Anse Takamaka was one such beach on the west coast which was amazing. I found the sea a little rough...More
