When you enter the Synogague, you feel it is a Holy Place. There is a room on the side where the Ari HaKodesh learned with Eliyahu HaNavi

This synagogue, built and operated by the Sephardi community is drop dead gorgeous. Certainly a must see in Saved.

Loved having a chance to see this synagogue at last leg of trip and see it's history and hear the vibrations of old prayers and meditations in one sitting. If you believe in Tzfat this is a place to go.

This place is like a vortex of energy and was the location of the major kabbalist talking and meditating with Elijah the prophet. Highly suggest this stop in Tzfat as it is also right above the cemetary and ritual bath of the namesake. For those...More

The front of the synagogue, the Bimah, is very pleasing but there is little else there to see or do, unless you are coming to pray here.

The synagogue was built in the 16th century, destroyed in the 1837 earthquake and reconstruction was completed in 1857. It serves as a place of worship for both Ashkenazi Hasidic Jews and Sephardic Jews. The Ark which was carved from olive wood is Gorgeous!

This is the oldest synagogue in Safet. The interior is known for its blue accents derived from Moorish Spain, where the color blue was considered sacred. It has central bimah and the three Holy Arks on the southern wall, facing Jerusalem.
