This is a recreation of a 1st century village and there are actors dressed up in period costumes and there are recreations of some old houses, olive press, and a synagogue. There is an original wine press and place where they made clay for pottery.
It was just a bit odd as it's supposed to be a first century village, but the whole time you are overlooked by and can see modern higher rise buildings and you can always hear car horns. The tour was a little bit Jesus and bible heavy and at the end they worked you for extra donations.
It's worth visiting to see for yourself

Nazareth Village shares the story of what Nazareth was really like in the time of Christ. This living history museum will have something for everyone in the family.

I love how the guides share Biblical truths throughout the whole tour.

Definitely worth your time.

We didn’t know what to expect, but it was anything but cheesy or too touristy! The tour guide did an excellent job tying in the life of Jesus with the “remade” village! We learned a lot about the history and culture. The “real” city only focuses on Mary. The village is small but worth the trip!

The tour is very educational. It recreates life at the time of Christ. The recreated synagogue turns the biblical account alive. The lunch was relatively good: the locally baked bread was tasty and crunchy, the lentile soup was simple lacking spices and flavors, the chicken thigh was undercooked and not edible! Overall: The tour was perfect, the food was not good at all!

A very nice place to visit and understand how life was in the first century. My kids have recognized some scenarios as they have seen a movie called “A Star” that tells the sorry of Jesus birth. Our guide, Anthony, was very prepared to explain all the details about the place.

Excellent perspective of Jesus’ life as a child. Inside tours, outdoors sites and real settlement of the time, lunch is excellent including the time place era. A definite must see and do while touring Israel.

Loved this village and the wonderful storytelling of our guide, Daniel. Very good communicator, educating us on 1st century life and Jesus. Very well done and I would recommend to those in Nazareth. This is not just for kids, great for adults too!

One of the best experiences I’ve had. I always had the wish to see how people in the 1st century lived. There, you can have an idea of how it was. Great tour guide and amazing staff. I would definitely recommend.
