Two thousand years after the birth of Jesus, Nazareth Village opened its doors to visitors. Nazareth Village is located on a site that was remarkably untouched and unchanged since Jesus time. In fact, Nazareth Village preserves the last remaining fields worked by Jesus’ friends, family and fellow villagers.

The guide and the "actors"/volunteers were so good at telling the stories of life at the time of Jesus! The archeological sites were interesting and the information at the beginning of the tour was helpful. A wonderful place.

Nazareth is now a busy, crowded and has traffic mayhem. The developers of this site have researched one small area and have created what the childhood home of Christ may have looked like. The tour is on a hill side that has grape harbors, a wine press, olive press, a carpenters shop, a typical house, a lady making yarn ,... More

The town and even the very name of Nazereth rightly evokes so much about Jesus. But with modern Israeli life everywhere a special place is needed to get in tune with how it really was 2000 years ago. This place is THE place. I will go so far as to say it was my best tourist dollars spent in my... More

The visit to this exhibition and living museum site was an excellent day. The Bible days of Jesus early years until he left for Galilee are presented by guides and actors in traditional costumes It brings the Bible alive. It's a must visit in Israel

I visited this amazing recreation of 1st century Jewish life during my fourth trip to Israel, and I highly recommend it. There is something special about being in Nazareth itself and experiencing the scenes and history and details of life from the time of Christ. Our guide was excellent and brought out so much fascinating information. So many of the... More
