The boat was found along the edge of the Sea of Galilee when the water was really down. It is typical of fishing boats used in New Testament times, but no claims are made that this boat was used by Jesus or his disciples. It...More

I short visit to this museum provided a truly unexpected and fulfilling experience, which for me helped make the New Testament come to life. I could visualize Jesus and the Apostles in a boat like this, fishing on the Sea of Galilee. Amazing find. We...More

A must see in Gallilee. This antiquity was discovered in 1986. It was removed and restored and now stands in the Galilee Miracles Centre. There is an interactive presentation with a movie as well as the actual restored boat on display

A great place to gain insight into Jesus life around the Galilee area. The ancient boat provides a worthwhile artefact to visit I would recommend a trip onto the lake on one of the many your boats. Great views. Great experience. Great fun

This is an okay stop but nothing special. There is a lot to see in the area so don’t spend too much time here.

Have visited a number of times with groups and each time is a fascinating visit. Well set out and full of interesting information I recommend a visit....made even more special by a sail on the Sea of Galilee itself.
