Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an okay stop but nothing special. There is a lot to see in the area so don’t spend too much time here.

An ancient boat salvaged from the Galilean mud despite enormous challenges of keeping it intact once the mud was removed. Watch the video to make the most of this relic. I found it fascinating.

To see a boat 2000 years old that was hauled up from the depths and preserved. One wondered "did Jesus sail in this boat or maybe the disciples? Who might have used it all those many years ago."

This was by far one of my favorite things we did on our tour of the Holy Land. I will say, the museum itself is small, but the boat ride is worth the trip. If you are not religious, it probably won't be as meaningful to you and you may not enjoy drifting out on the Sea of Galilee as it's more the meaning behind the boat ride than the boat ride itself. Because it was part of our tour, I don't have an exact cost for what we experienced, but there were 51 of us on the tour and we all loved it!

We visited the kibbutz and had a brief boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. It was rather disappointing. The high points were learning a Israeli dance and buying their souvenirs. Not value for money. The information about the ancient boat was good.

Great display of the boat and the video showing the discovery and the rescue of the boat is well done

There is a movie here you can watch that tells the story of the recent discovery of the boat and how it was preserved. And then there's the boat. It is worth a visit.

Must see, and must do
The ancient boat is cool
But the worship boat ride is the best!
Worship was so intense we expected to see Yeshua walk on the water to us at any minute.

Before boarding a boat on the Sea of Galilee, you get to see an original boat that archaeologists found and preserved that dates back to Jesus' time. The Center has many great artifacts.
