An excavation for the Israel Department of Antiquities and Museums found a 2,000-year-old boat that had been buried in the Sea of Galilee’s clay bottom. Great museum.

The boat museum is right beside the sea of Galilee boat tour. The museum was interesting but too much of a an emphasis on the way over priced stuff in the gift shop. I wouldn't visit it again except going on the sea of Galilee...More

This museum displays a fishing boat from the time of Jesus. The boat has a wonderful exhibit showing the boats discovery, recovery, and restoration. Well worth the detour!

A must visit. Its a very significant place to go. It is a history rich site. One of the most important Christian sites to visit, the Jesus Boat.

This is not a must see attraction but one you should check out only if you are interested. There is much to see in the area so pick your spots wisely.

30 minutes would be fine with children. You can do a quick walk through, I would try to watch the film if they are old enough to hold attention, it's not very long as I remember.
