This beautiful water palace consists of a large artificial lake with a floating pavilion in the center connected to the shoreline by a raised footpath. This pavilion was used as meeting place and court of justice during the reign of Balinese kingdom in Lombok.

It was not free and there are nothing much to see. You'll see a Pura, a pool, and a pavilion in the middle of the pool. No beautiful peacocks. Nice place to capture photos, though

Fee to enter, not much to see, not well maintained. On a positive note, it can be cooler on the artificial island and if you walk all the way to the back it gets a bit more interesting.

Mayura Water Palace and Pura Meru have 2 entries on tripadvisor but apparently they are the same monument. So I would not go the same length as repeating the review I wrote for Pura Meru. The water palace with its surrounding idols and sculptures rather...More

The site is poorly maintained despite visitors having to pay an entrance fee. While it has historical significance to the island, there is not much in it. The guide is a real put-off. He constantly talks about making a donation (no receipt) and at the...More
