We went to many beaches in Sumba, and this is one of my favourite. The sand is very smooth, the water is calm and very peaceful. From the local kids we bought coconuts - really refreshing.

Very remote area with very friendly and curious locals. Learn Bahasa to comunicate. Good surfing, Good snorkling, Good spearfishing. Not many white folks around which is awesome when you get the beach to yourself.

We stayed at Nautil Resort, 30 mins of walking distance to the beach. The beach has really white sand. Take a walk surround the beach and you will get to the hills to see great view around.
