Just an okay mall, you can find several jakarta brand restaurants here but nothing fancy. Several shops are closed due to pandemic. I asked for a direction inside the mall to the customer service, what a lousy service! Overall, go visit this mall if you have nothing to do. Other than that, don’t.

should not be on your to do list while visiting Manado, but if you happen to be a starbucks addict or you just cannot miss a blockbuster premiere, then this is the place where you can sip your favourite latte and enjoy the latest blockbuster movies. there are a lot of restaurants and cafes inside the three-building mall.

This is the biggest mall in Manado located in the heart of the city. There are many international brands and food options here. Some of the escalators weren't working when I visited so it was quite inconvenient.

You can find everythings here: Clothes, food, body treatment, body shop everythings that you need put in one big shop building whic is located in the downtown of the city!

I thought we would go to the sea and find nice restaurants all along the coast. But we found this mall and they only had their parking back there on the sea side? Seemed like a poor choice, I would have thought nice restaurants overlooking the sea? If you like malls, then I guess it’s fine. It has all your shopping needs.

We found it strange and funny to see the ceiling painted like a sky with clouds and watch the mall's train. Although I did not plan to make shopping, I bought a t-shirt.
But main reason we went there was because we wanted to have dinner somewhere close to our hotel (ibis Manado) and this shopping mall has a decent food court.

I could have been in Sydney. Brand stores, very clean and open. No true bargains taking the exchange rate rate into consideration. It is hard to reconcile the slick mall with the hectic and simple world outside. It did not feel like a true reflection of how people live here.
Matahari department store gave us more of a glimpse into Manado life. Like a crowded Myer during a stocktake sale it offered more generic street wear and plenty of batik shirts. Look out for the matching his and hers batik shirt and dress.
