It is an old and used submarine by Indonesia army which was bought Russia. For those never see an actual submarine, inside and out, good to know !

For 15000 rph (80p) you can see an old Whiskey Class cold war sub up close. It's an excellent diversion for 30 mins or so.

Spent about 15ins in the submarine. It would be helpful if you have a guide who's familiar or is abe to explain the various parts of the submarine.

A unique tourist attraction and the first and probably last time I will get the chance to walk inside a submarine. Elevated in a paved area in the city. Tricky to get parking if in a car but parking is cheap at under a dollar....More

I'm from states as well but spend usually 2 weeks at a time there to see my wife. talk to guides in area about 8 hr. siteseeing tour. war museum is great trip as well. Mt Bromo as well but that is several days long.
