It is must see in Semarang. It is a complex of big temples, a lot of events are held there. There are local guides that can explain. there is big anchor of Commodore Cheng Hoo, that spread the Islam religion from China. must see!

Nice confucian temple complex (not bhuddist). Not much to do but shoot nice pictures. Tip, enter the 2nd part (additional fee) to take closer look at the temples. Barefoot you can enter some temples for even closer look (ask permission first). Check out the wall...More
