Please come and see Gedung Sate as the icon of Bandung (West Java). This is the place that governor always held the reception for guests who come to Bandung. With unique symbol up on the building, it means that you will find this building so easy. Enjoy your day...

This majestic Dutch-built legacy showcases Javanese architecture using European execution. The big and beautiful lawns at the perimeter accentuate the imposing centerpiece, which is lighted up at night, adding charm to the still functional building which serves as the seat of power of the West Java Province.

A friend of mine tells me that it is a cheeky place and somewhat not related to tourism of Bandung, but it is obligatory to take a picture in front of the building. the street is full with batik ornamental motifs. love it!

This building is the city icon. If you are a visiting tourist, then you should go here for a photo op. Don't expect much to do though.

Nice enough building. Lit up nicely at night. It has a very funny name which is what attracted me to it. 😂.....look as much as you want you won't find any chicken around here to go with the sate. It would have to be a giant one any way!
