Very good experience led by two delightful, well informed guides. We were well looked after, and as we had not been to Bali before, the tour greatly added to our overall experience. We would recommend this ride to anyone with a bit of cycling experience. The bikes were well suited to the conditions on sometimes narrow tracks between the flooded rice fields. Gusti and Ajus were excellent guides. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We did the Ubud to Tirta Empul Water Temple tour which was about 20km, culminating in a lunch at a local restaurant.
There was also a morning refreshment stop at a Balinese house that was very interesting as it gave an insight into Balinese home life.
The ride is not too difficult and the e-bikes made the climbs easy going.
Would recommend booking an e-bike tour with this group. They are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and it’s a great way to see the rural country side surrounding Ubud.

We had the most amazing and surprisingly
educational time on this tour. We saw a side
of Bali / Ubud we hadnt seen before and I
have to specifically thank Guna, our cycling
lead and guide for that.

Guna took the time to explain fascinating
and intimate details about each stop we
made, including Balinese temple rituals,
burials, houses and way of life, even
enabling us to meet and talk to paddy
farmers and ancestral home owners along
the way. The highlights for us were (of course) Tegalalang as well as our stop over at an ancestral Balinese home.

As for the ride itself, the bikes and helmet
are well maintained, and the e-bike function
was a total lifesaver on many parts of the
trip. Despite having cycled before, I am not
an experienced enough cyclist and found
some parts of the route a bit too
treacherous to get through (particularly
through the narrower parts of the paddy
fields).

My recommendation would be to ensure
you have some onroad and offroad cycling
experience prior to joining this tour, or to at
least forewarn/ alert the guide if you feel you
may have difficulty navigating any part of
the trip. It was my mistake to assume I could
easily manage the paddy field and prompty
fell into a ditch! Fortunately I was not hurt and the guide saw to it that I was alright
before continuing. We ended the tour with a
tasty Balinese lunch.

All in all, well worth the money and time.

Great trip and very professionally run. We were collected from our resort and taken to the place where the tour starts. The details from the staff were excellent and thorough and the level of care very good.

The bikes are in good condition and the tour takes you through rice padi fields and to the village up in the mountains and then back down and to a cute restaurant for lunch. The guides were fantastic and should be congratulated for their efforts in keeping us safe.

Riding on the main roads at times can be a bit scary but we all arrived back with no issues. I highly recommend this tour

The best e-bike tour around!!

Very close to Ubud centre, we were picked up by a pre-arranged buggy and drove just a few minutes outside of Ubud centre where we met our tour guides and eBikes.
We were given a moment to choose our bikes, adjust seat height and practice for a bit in a large private area.

A beautiful cycle out to the rice fields with lots of information and knowledge from our amazing two guides Guna & Wid!
We stopped in a traditional Balinese house to see how they live their everyday lives.
Last stop was at a restaurant with stunning views and a little swing photo opportunity!!
Please do get out of Ubud centre as the area around is just stunning.

The ebikes make for a real easy, relaxing bike tour but there were some uneven ground and a small amount of time on the road (but they’re not heavily congested roads), so I would say you’d need some experience riding a bike but that’s all!

Overall, a fantastic, well planned and thought-out tour which I’d happily join again!!
They took amazing photos of us on the tour which they later emailed to us.
So professional and you can really see they care about their tours and guests.

Our family loved this bike tour!! The sites were beautiful (rice fields, temples, local villages!!). We also stopped at a kampong and learned about what a typical Balinese family structure looks like.

Guna & Hary did an amazing job navigating us through the narrow rice fields and the busy streets of Ubud, as the town is getting ready to celebrate Nyepi. I appreciated having 2 guides, as one could stop traffic for us to cross at busy interactions. There was also a cart that followed just in case we needed to replace our bikes or if someone became too tired to ride. These bikes are electric so you always have the option to turn it on when you’re tired or when you don’t want to climb a steep incline. Our tour ended with a delicious lunch.

As a side note, I left my glasses at their office. They are going to drop it off at our hotel for me.

I would highly recommend doing this tour with eBikes Bali!!

We have been in Bali for nine days, and this was definitely the highlight of our trip.
The E Bikes were so easy to master and made the cycling so much more enjoyable.
The two guides we had were so knowledgeable Had a good sense of humour whilst making us feel very comfortable at all times.
The places we visited were breathtaking, and to cycle back through the paddy fields during the golden hour was an added bonus.
The food was probably the best meal I’ve had in Bali during my visit. Which I didn’t even realise we’ve got dinner when I booked. So all in all cannot recommend the trip enough and even if I was lying on the outskirts of Bali I would travel in especially to do the trip as it was so good
Thank you all once again

My friend and I went on the half day e-bike tour of Ubud on 20th Nov 23. We really didn't know what to expect but had an amazing time and both highly recommend it. Our guides Guna and Gusti were friendly and informative and did everything possible to ensure we had a great afternoon. The whole trip was perfectly organised, including being picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the end of the day. The trip even included a meal at the end of the tour at a rustic family restaurant serving local dishes, which were very tasty. All in all a fab experience.

Was a great 3 hr trip that took in areas of ubud that you can't get to by car or foot easily. Tour was well run, great english speaking, knowledgeable locals, who took safety as absolute paramount. Highly recommended it 👌

This was the biggest rip off I have experienced! $70. for a notional 1/2 day downhill ebike cycle around Ubud. What this consisted of was a drive to higher ground for take off (who even needed a ebike?), visits to coffee plantation to spend money and 1 other site, then sitting for a 15 minute filler whilst tour guide sat and caught up with a wood carver fried whilst they spoke in Balinese. The goat track that we notionally cycled on was so extremely poor that much I had to walk the bike along and I am an experienced out back rider. Biggest risk that I have taken with cycling, and I have cycled extensively in Cambodia, out back Australia, Thailand and Vietnam. I discourage anyone from taking this trip.
