About
The more I step into those original villages, the more I get closer to her amazing culture. The culture in Bali nowadays still inherited by oral exchange from generation to generation. People here respects to face-to-face communication. Simple living in Bali is not a dream to the people. However, we are still looking for this so called simple life in our own city, some still remains painful. A real travel should be learning something new from your destinations. We are working hard to offer you a new skill or a fresh life style, which can make something really different during your visit in Bali.

I booked the tour with Viator and our driver Marta met me at the Cruise terminal. He took me to this amazing wood carving shop and the masterpieces on display is beyond belief. Its not only small carvings but life size carving made of Mahogany,Teak wood etc. The amount of work and the patience required to create wood carving of people and religious statues etc., takes the breath away. Next time you visit Bali, make it a must stop to visit wood carving shops and galleries. You will not be disappointed.

We stopped off on a private tour as we love all types of wood. We were amazed at the talent working such large pieces of wood, one in particularly caught our eye, a life size farmer holding a large chicken cage, with a chicken inside and another chicken on top. All made out of one piece of wood. Incredible.

We went their as part of our tour. These guys are really talented. From Giant wood carvings to tiny ones. They had many types of wood. The hibiscus wood was really nice as it includes naturally 2 colors. We did not buy anything though as they were pricy and we needed to bargain to get a good fair price.
