    Must Visit for Art Lovers!!!
Best Art Gallery in Bali! We came here upon the recommendation by Gusti at our hotel, and it blew us away! The service was impeccable and the range of art covered every style and size so there is something for all tastes and budgets in a chilled no pressure setting. This place is bursting with art with many rooms to explore. Prices are also reasonable, however like everywhere in Bali, be prepared for a little negotiation. If you like art, come here. Even if you think you don’t like art, come here. These guys are the best!

Nice art at good prices if you haggle!
I bought a lovely painting of an Ubud market scene for a fair price (by Western standards). Yes, there are quite a few works here that you could buy in the Ubud markets but also some genuinely beautiful and original works. Very happy with our purchase (which I got for less than one third of the original asking price).

Art for every taste here in Ubud!
If I was being funny, I would say if someone is not able to find a great piece of artwork here to take home, then they do not truly like art. My wife and I found five rooms full of 120 artists of varying styles, like traditional, modern, abstract, & mixed. We got a great modern piece that symbolizes our trip here, even with two little doggies in the painting too. Thanks to Katut our guide through the gallery. We had a great 30 minutes of education on local art and no pressure at all to purchase anything.

    Great Artwork
A vast selection of original artwork (oil paintings) at reasonable prices. There is a wide selection of very large to small pieces. Most of the works are traditional although modern works are in the adjacent building. I believe that the prices are negotiable (told so by a staff member). Although I did not purchase anything this will be my go to place in the future.

Love my painting, easy to take through custom and take home
I purchased the most beautiful large painting from a Gallery in Seminyak. I paid 7 million for it, which transpires a lot of money, but for me personally it was absolutely worth it. Being over 5ft square and beautifully painted, I couldnt leave it behind. I have to admit I was extremely worried about checking in at the airport...Dont be. Lots of people all over the world purchase painting from Bali and checkin was a piece of cake. It was rolled into, best discription a drain pipe. When I check in at Emirates, I wasnt even questioned. When I landed at Gatwick, it rolled down the shoot in over large items totally unscaith. Had the painting restretched and framed and what a stunner. Im so very glad I took the leap of faith. Best thing I purchased from the whole holiday

    Spending an afternoon appreciating art
Twas just a spur of the moment trip one afternoon on our last day in Bali, thanks to our cab driver, Jakfar, this art gallery was a very welcome surprise! Thought will just be going around and appreciating art and as it turns out, we didn't leave empty handed! haha! This is truly a must-visit for all art enthusiasts and lovers of art; one will definitely can't resist taking home a piece of Bali.

I expected a representation of the most important Balinese art trends. After visiting Arma Museum, I had high hopes. To my disappointment, the paintings are "tourist" oriented, fast made copies, often representing the same themes, colors, etc. To be honest, the same types can be found back home sold to tourist.
The hosts were not pleasant either. Luckily, I decided to walk there from Ubud since I had a lot of free time and stumbled on the way back upon a house of a local artist that is located on the road when leaving Ubud - wow - that was amazing in comparison. A genuine Balinese artist's home of I Gusti Putu Sana. Not only I had a chance to walk around his family home, got invited for coffee and could experience the genuine Balinese art. This was a true gem. Forget this cooperative, I bet there are more hidden gems like that around.

Over rated. The guide followed us around the whole time which stoped us enjoying the experience. He said several times that he could get something similar so I did not feel that the art was genuine. Out taxi driver then took us to another collective which basically had the same paintings. We passed several garages along the way which he pointed out” we’re fakes”. By the end I felt it all was fake. Loved the exhibition that we saw at the monkey forest. If I was buying something it would have been from there, spoke to an artist who had created two of the paining

You won’t see art like this anywhere else. The entire experience from welcome to goodbye, blew our minds. Thank you so much for having us. We each purchased a piece that we fell in love with and couldn’t be happier.
