The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

It's a really good hiking hill. The view is green and fresh but HOT. It was not a long walk but we couldn't find the path at first. It should have more information board.

We stumbled on this walk accidentally and I am so glad we did! We followed the path from the heart of town, up towards Karsa spa and Jungle Fish. It is such a beautiful walk with jungle views on either side. Highly recommend!

Tucked away just behind the hussle and bussle of the Ubud streets was this hidden beauty. We did it early in the morning to avoid the heat. The "end" was a bit disappointing but still a good walk with great views.

It is so hot in Bali that we did the walk just before sunset. We thought it would be cooler and wanted to get some nice sunset photos in the rice fields which we did. I have been melting in the heat it was no different on this walk. The walk itself is not hard it was the heat that... More

I spent 10 days in Ubud and managed 3 runs during this time, all on Campuhan Ridge - after running through the streets of Ubud this was a welcome change in scenery. The multiple shades of green, the rice paddy fields, mountains in the distance - absolutely stunning and well worth the effort in the heat and humidity.

I headed out of Central Ubud at 6:10 AM, when it was quiet and peaceful and arrived at the Campuhan Ridge entrance by 6:30 AM. Because I didn’t want to have a Google Maps mishap, I did my research online, and documented a few markers to the trailhead (see photos), which I hope can be helpful to others. The Warwick... More
