My husband and I enjoyed our day learning about and making batiks. Widya and his staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We each made a fairly large-scale batik; the process took about five hours. Highly recommend.

Yes, you can learn the art of Batik painting :) The artists from Widya’s will guide and teach you. Batik class starts at 10am, and normally ends at 3pm. Fee is 450K rupiah (~32 USD) per person.
