We took the Wednesday morning class and loved it! Right from the beginning, we were completely in awe of the surroundings and beautiful grounds. We sat down and enjoyed a fresh hibiscus cold drink while chatting with the other guests. Didn't take long for our crazy and oh so funny teacher to show up and start telling us, not only... More

Well organized and informative. As hands on as you'd like it to be. Beautiful gardens surrounding the cooking area. Take your swimmers as a dip in the pool after the market visit is a great way to cool off. The "second breakfast" was delicious as was lunch itself.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our time at the Casa Luna Cooking Class. The market tour was a terrific start and showed a different side to the market area than what most tourists are used to. As the tour commences just after 8 the market is still set up with fresh produce and spices and not the arts... More

I spent the morning at this great school, the main cook was brilliant very funny, spoke great English and was very informative on all of the different ingredients. She was very caring to some people that had Bali belly, making them ginger tea. The hibiscus drinks were so refreshing. This is well worth going

Booked the Tuesday morning cooking class and market tour for my partner and myself. The tour of the produce market was very informative and took us places we otherwise would not have explored. The guide was very good at explaining the foods and comparing them to ingredients everyone on the tour would understand. Only down side was sometimes it felt... More

The class , hostess, surroundings were like something out of a romantic movie. My husband & I took the class on the spur of the moment & we will never forget it. We can't wait to get home & make the Satay together.

My husband and I were lucky enough to sign up for a Market Tour and Cooking Class through Casa Luna. What fun! We really enjoyed the market tour and our tour guide was so knowledgeable, plus there are some really awesome things for sale (we even went back later to check it out on our own). It's huge! Such a fantastic experience on the Thursday market tour and homestyle cooking class! This tour was not only a cooking lesson, but a lesson in Balinese culture in general, especially pertaining to family life, gender roles, and spiritual practices. Our tour guides were friendly and informative, with lots of opportunities for questions. The market tour certainly enabled us to see... More
