Gooday is a very well spoken, articulate guide with an in-depth knowledge of Balinese culture and local history. I really enjoyed visiting the Balinese house. It was fascinating to learn how the design and layout is all planned, the reasons why and how that affects the household hierarchy and spiritual beliefs. If you are going to the art gallery, don't be like me and leave your card behind although maybe that's a good thing otherwise I would have to explain why I was going home with a 4550AUD painting lol The artistic skill reflecting traditional Balinese life and culture is remarkable. It was worth every cent of the tour and I highly recommend him.

I first met Gooday on a short trip to a pharmacy in Ubud arranged by our resort (diaper run for our baby). In that short time, Gooday and I struck up a great conversation about travel, Covid-19 concerns, and good activities for us with a baby in Ubud. Specifically, we wanted to visit waterfalls but were concerned about slippery footing.
We kept in touch, and two days later Gooday brought us to two great waterfalls that were super-manageable with our baby: Tibumana and Kanto Lampo. He also brought us to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave Temple) and explained its Buddhist origins and Hindu traditions.
Gooday was above and beyond accommodating at all times, and we enjoyed our day with him so much that we made sure to book him for our ride back to the airport when our vacation ended.
We recommend Gooday for any transportation needs in the Ubud area.

Great experience throughout with Gooday for a half-day booking! The communication in advance and on the day was excellent. The driver on the day was Komang, who was incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. I was travelling alone and Komang was great to have a conversation with, he was also incredibly informative and gave lots of useful tips and recommendations for the day as well as the rest of my stay. He certainly exceeded expectations and I had a great day! I have used other drivers in Bali before, but Gooday & Komang are the best I have experienced by far. I would highly recommend!

During this weekend we have been together, he has shown us the essence of the island, always with a smile and enjoying his work. If you want to visit or try anything in Bali, you just have to ask him and he makes it possible.

I can not say enough good things about Gede! We went to Bali for our honeymoon in May and used Gede's services the entire time. He picked us up from the airport, helped us travel within Uluwatu, and was the best guide in Ubud! He took us to wonderful restaurants, temples, waterfalls, rice terraces, etc and was so knowledgeable about each place we went. It was amazing to learn about the culture and history of every place we explored and have a deeper understanding rather than just a driver to take us to tourist traps. Gede was so nice, friendly, and made our entire experience a million times better! I can not recommend him enough!!

Was served by Goodday’s Colleague, Gede Suardita during this trip. Had him as my driver for 4 days. A very pleasant gentleman who was humble, polite, eager to help throughout our trip.
Also bumped into Goodday himself for a while and he was very happy to see us
Both of them speak very good english so communication was not an issue

Gooday was a fantastic driver and guide! We were originally put in contact for a ride, but continued to contact him day after day for rides and also tour destinations. He was always available and on time. He brought us to silver making class and a coffee farm, both of which were highlights of our trip. At the end of our stay in Ubud, he drove us over an hour to Seminyak to our next villa. Would highly recommend!

We came in Balk with no plan and gooday was so helpful with what we should do ! He picked us up from the airport and took us to our place. We then booked a tour that went perfectly, we loved everything about it !

This guy knows Bali inside and out - from traffic to best times to arrive at sites. Do yourself a favor and call him. You will be so glad you did. Authentic, informed and the kindest human. Trip would not have been the same without his guidance/information.
