If you have trouble looking for this temple, simply go to Starbucks on the main strip and there it is. The juxtaposition of the temple and modern culture is so interesting.

Our guide told us that this was the only Hindu temple in Bali that you can actually go in to. You are given a sarong in exchange for a small contribution. It was fascinating. The money collected goes towards the next festival they hold so the village people don't need to fund it. Lots of photo opportunity. This is somewhere... More

The temple is a bit hard to see as people say a restaurant blocks its view from Jalan Raya. But its entrance is right next to the Starbucks, so easy to find. The huge pools with lily pads are a great option for picture taking. I have been here when there are crowds and when it is empty. It likely... More

Walking in downtown Ubud, we first didn't notice this place as some restaurant are kinda blocking the view inside. It's amazing how you find peace in the middle of a busy downtown. It is very beautiful that the building is surrounded by lilies.

Such a gem of a place right in the middle of town. I first visited Saraswati Temple in 2015 and each time I go back to Ubud I at least try to walk by it or take a peek inside it. I love the lotus pond at the front and the cafe/restaurant next to it offers great views of the... More

Good to see if your in Ubud, centrally located if in town, nice cafe and good photo spot. Time spent her would be 10mins unless you have having something at the cafe.

During our visit to Ubud, we visited a lot of temples. This one is best one on the main ubud street. There are a few good ones near the tengalang rice field. There is a cafe near the temple. Probably best way to enjoy was to drink a cup of coffee while enjoying the view of temple.

Great place for a quiet walk outside the temple. No sarongs needed and this is a fab location for photos. There was only another two people when we visited about 3pm.
