For someone unfamiliar with Indonesian culture, it was nice to immerse myself with this hour long performance. The performance opens with song and dance, followed by a five course act show with energetic costumes and acting. Worthwhile checking out. Good for entire family.

Entrance fee is Rp100,000 per pax. Heard from our driver that there is only 1 time slot per day. Go there earlier to get the front seat and a good view. Do go up to the stage earlier as it can get rather crowded once...More

Very average - the guide book states if costumes dirty and orchestra not engaged probably B grade - costumes very dirty- given information and choice we would be unlikely to have attended

This was our first stop for Bali day tour which set us in a very disappointing mood. It was poor show purely staged for tourist who might have paid thinking they will experience a local cultural life. No such thing... best avoided...

This is actually a good (Barong) vs evil (Rangda) morality play in 5 acts. Great costumes and action and would be fun to bring kids to. Suggest that you grab a program guide before you see the play to understand the scenes. Think Kabuki Theater...More

So this is probably the biggest smack of local culture to the face you're going to experience first thing in the morning. The costumes were nice, the stage itself is stunning. The band will play the same song for an hour without skipping a beat...More
