About
Visiting the Pasifika art collection is one of a time opportunity to relax in an oasis of tranquillity and to view an extraordinary collection of paintings and other artworks. It is housed in an exquisite modern Balinese building designed by Popo Danes, one of the most celebrated Balinese architect. There will be Indonesian and Balinese artworks but also numerous paintings by those bohemian artists who came from Europe and other parts of the world starting from the 1930s, succumbing to the spells of the enchanting tropical Island. Stroll in the well-manicured garden, take some selfies, taste local delicacies with a 'kopi Bali', and above all enjoy the art. For a complete Bali experience, come and visit Pasifika.

Wayan met us at the disembarkation dock at Benoa, Bali. We first visited the Nusa Dua area where the area reminds me of Ko 'olina on the Ewa side of Oahu. The upscale hotels, shops, flora and fauna, and expanse without the crowded feeling is such a contrast to what I've seen so far on this trip.
We paid an entry fee of 100K Rupiah each. There is no A/C which, we agreed, is harmful to the preservation of the artwork. It is so hot and humid here. We were uncomfortable.
There are nice exhibits of well-known artists such as Gaugin. I liked the armory room that had a vast collection of spears, straw armor, shields, masks, and swords and knives.
Hardly any other visitors during the time our group was there.

Hallo Alohtripper, Thank you for your visit to the Pasifika Museum. You're already willing to take the time to leave a good comment on Tripadvisor Museum Pacifica. The Pasifika Museum displays paintings, sculptures and precious objects that can add insight to visitors. We apologise for your inconvenience if our place does not have air conditioning, because Museum Pasifika is a sustainable museum by reducing the use of air conditioning, and our place in the Nusa Dua area is very affected by humidity. But we do not hesitate because every month the condition of the painting will be checked by our restoration from Germany. We hope you are impressed with the collections we display and we look forward to your next visit. Thank you, Regards

I really recommend this museum to visit, the paintings really move the heart. Each painting in one room carries a different charm and shows its own characteristics and still highlights the beauty of Bali, starting from the culture and habits of its people. I'll be back again for a longer tour hihi✨

The paintings are so amazing and cool. The staff was also friendly. A little feedback from me, maybe next time can explain the meaning of the painting, because yesterday my children were less introduced to the existing painting. Overall, I'm happy to visit this Pacific Museum. Thank you very much!

The museum exhibits many paintings by the mancanegara painter, many of whose paintings relate to the civilization of Bali and the work of sculpture.

Unfortunately, children are less interested in paintings. They are more interested in sculpture.

Those who love painting can come to this museum.

Very nice and distinctive museum. Every time we go back to Nusa Dua we must visit. The works of artists from Oceania and European artists who have lived and worked in the region can be found here. Very interesting and unusual. Nice change. There's a patio and a small cafe.

Sirius close to the Bali connection centre in Nusa Dua, the museum is a modern building.
The art works are varied and very colourful reflecting the local heritage.
Some pieces are spectacular and vivid.
Worth a visit.

Be aware the fans in the museum struggle to move the air making it quite hot inside.

Museum of incomparable wealth, variety,
each room is a vibrant tribute to Indonesia.
Celebrated in painting, sculpture, light and shadow,
it reveals itself in the hands of artists
who lived there or only dreamed.

Indonesian looks, souls from elsewhere,
united by the same fascination,
bring out landscapes, traditions,
and that elusive spirit that keeps the archipelago moving.

This place is a lifetime's work,
A gesture of passion, a work of memory.
Here, Indonesia breathes,
she whispers her ancient stories,
She dances between walls, eternal and free.

At the Pasifika Museum, art is an open door.
A universal, timeless breath,
that invites everyone to dive into the soul
of a unique heritage.
