Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

A local guide took me there. It was his favorite cheap souvenir shop. They had a wide selection of products, including food, miscellaneous goods, and fashion. The prices were certainly cheap. There were things I hadn't seen in other supermarkets, and I ended up buying quite a few souvenirs here.

Do not buy anything elsewhere before you come to a Krisna. There are several branches but this is the main one. Sunset Road is a very popular street in Kuta and everyone can point you the way.

Even their tagline is "Ngapain Mahal Kalo Bisa Murah" i.e."Why Be Expensive When You Can Go Cheap". That sounded very convincing and convinced me they did.

For example, a nice wind chime only cost us IDR 16,000 (USD 1.50)! The going price on the street was IDR100,000 and you'd have to go through the usual saga of trying to bargain it down. So at Krisna, you don't have to do any of that and just buy anything you need and at the cheapest prices. Everything would be there. Trust me.

I'm not telling you to buy at Krisna first, but I'm merely telling you to go visit it first. Before you buy anything elsewhere and regret it later. Like yours truly. *major facepalm!* Even if your tour itinerary puts Krisna as the very last destination, like they usually do, ask to be brought over to it first. If you're into buying trinkets and knick-knacks for souvenirs, I mean.

Just browse through if you don't feel like buying anything at first, just mark the prices of your favourite things and then go on your way to all the other shops. See if you can get any of the stuffs cheaper. I don't think so though, but they do have a rival called Agung Bali nearby. We went there after Krisna but there were nobody else but us. The rival's was deserted!

Almost all of the stuffs would be in packages, so you need to peer real carefully at each one so that you can find what you're looking for. Like wind chimes for example, weren't hung but instead packed in plastic. It's a supermarket and the prices are fixed. Credit cards are allowed.

Anyhow, try not to be overwhelmed by the crowd because it's usually quite crowded. Also, avoid going during weekends or without a driver for you might not get a parking space.

If you happen to be running a deco shop of your own, this is definitely the place for you to stock up.

It’s a big store for all king of souvenirs from Bali. I found lots of buses parking all around& ppl buying wholesale quantities, especially food& herbs. Anyway, I bought coconut cream, beach bags, massage oil, lemon grass tea, mangosteen tea& stuff for my family & frds which is made locally. It saved me time& effort. No bargain, no pain.

You’ll find almost all kinds of souvenirs here in the convenience of a massive air-conditioned store. Best thing is that you need not bargain as all prices are fixed.
Things I find worth buying are t-shirts, sarongs, fridge magnets, key chains, spa products, handicrafts, accessories, bags, sandals, beachwear and snacks. Super Kacang Asin Krisna (peanuts) was highly recommended by a friend. Orange colored box that weights 400grams.

This is a great shop for cheap clothes for adults & kids, paintings, jewellery, body creams, sunglasses, incense, bags, doonas, some foods & loads of souvenirs. Worth a visit & just a cheap cab ride from Kuta to Sunset Road about $3/$4. It seems mainly for locals but bus loads of Muslim tourists seem to shop there as well. A few shops around for a cold drink or something to eat, also a great little coffee shop out through the side entrance. Worth a look at.

The place is worth a visit , even if it's far from your place .
Place is spacious and have variety of goods , mainly everything related to abi culture from soap , scrubs , lotions all made in Bali . Also , they have tishrits , shorts , dresses , shoes , silver products ( rings , ear rings , bracelets ..etc )
The prices are very good , and quality seems okay .
My only concern that Indonesia in general have hot weather around the year , and the shop has no good A/C

Krisna is a large store dedicated to selling Bali souverniers. As you enter the store, you are greeted by staff who then stick a sticker on your shirt/blouse.....I wonder why?

The store sells anything from t-shirts, tote bags, fridge magnets, key chains, sarongs, silver jewellery, food snacks, aromatherapy oils, thongs etc. The prices are certainly fair, but be careful with the quality. Generally, the quality is not as good as items sold in Matahari dept store, but they cost about half the price. On the other hand, if you are willing to travel out of Kuta (and brave the heat & haggling), you can get similar quality products for less at Pasar seni Sukawati.

Definitely the place to get souverniers if you are on a budget, have many people to buy for, are short of time, ir cannot be bothered to haggle over prices or bear the heat. But if you want to get something nice for yourself, I'd suggest somewhere like Matahari or a boutique shop.
