We found his contact on his homepage. Communication from Vienna was really easy (email, WhatsApp).
In Ubud, we were picked up by our guide Gede on time as agreed.
He arranged our individual tour requests so that the travel times were as short as possible. Gede personally guided us to all the excursion points.
He knew all the locations in detail. He was able to tell us a lot.
Because he speaks good English (better than my school English), we were able to understand him well.
If you want a friendly, reliable, punctual driver and guide who you can have a lot of fun with, he is highly recommended.
And one last tip: If you give Gede your smartphone on the excursions, you are guaranteed to get a great photo report and great videos of your trip.

We spent two days with Kadek as our driver in September and it was truly amazing. We came in with a few ideas about our daily itinerary and Dodi and Kadek helped us improve it so that we could see many different beautiful locations around the island.
Kadek was always very helpful and open to spontaneous changes to our travel plan while we were on the road. He answered every question we had and shared a seemingly endless stream of information about Balis culture and history.
Kadek was always punctual and very energetic, even if we spent hours on the road. We always felt safe while he was driving and we were happy that we didn't have to drive on Bali's narrow and crowded roads.
Kadek was always very helpful and open to spontaneous changes to our travel plan while we were on the road. He answered every question we had and shared a seemingly endless stream of information about Balis culture and history.

The entire end to end experience of engaging with Made Dodi, before our trip and until we left Bali, was a wonderful and a refreshing experience. Dodi gave us enough assurance on our provisional itinerary and made sure that we don’t fret about it too much as they would take care of things when we reach Bali. This has been our only holiday where we did not book activities in advance of reaching the place and we did not regret it by any means. Dodi’s team took care of whatever we asked them to and this gave us time to relax and have a stress free holiday.
Special mention to Dodi’s team:
Gede - picked us up from the airport and took us around the Ubud area. He sorted out our ATV activity and we had a great time at his recommended activity provider (KeepAll adventures). Gede made every effort to ensure we were able to cover things that we wanted to in a packed day. Gede also took great instagrammable pictures and videos of us
Kadek - took us to South of Bali and was entertaining and kept us engaged with his stories. He also protected us from the naughty monkeys in the Uluwatu temple area.
Made - took us to North of Bali and ensured we had a good time on a long day. I've read many reviews before booking with Dodi, my expectations were high and I was delighted that I made the right choice.
I pre-booked transport for my family to travel from the airport to the hotel. It took nearly 3 hours to work my way through customs and immigration etc. With this is mind we was very tired and found the driver without any problems.
Eka the driver was very friendly, patient and kind to my family. When speaking with Eka about exchanging money and buying a sim card for my phone he was able to take me to a money exchange shop which had much better rates than the airport.
Even going to buy a sim card, this stop took 15-20 minutes out of his time and he went above and beyond to help me.
Then I booked two full days tour though Dodi. The driver was Gede. He was amazing with my family and gave advice on where to go and places to visit. He is not just a driver, but a great tour guide and photographer also. Many skills Gede has.
We visited temples, monkey forest, Bali wake park where the kids had a great time in the water. Shopping and family massage. Everything we asked for was given with a genuine smile. Gede was great and an asset to the company.
The last day was very sad because it was time to leave. Widi was also great! On the way to the airport, I asked him about buying some local items. He recommends a market that was near the airport. Stopped there for 15 minutes to buy some last-minute gifts.
Very happy and delighted with the service and would highly recommend to other travellers to Bali. All three drivers were excellent and you won’t be disappointed if you book with Dodi.

I can highly recommend Made Dodi "Family team" when you need a driver on Bali and especially their driver Gede. He managed the crazy traffic among all scooters so that we just sat comfortably in his car (with AC) enjoying the views without worries. While driving he told us about everyday living, religion, habits and so on. If you asked him questions about anything you always got an answer so the trip was at the same time a lesson in Balinese culture.
Gede was always in time, very reliable in every way, extremely polite and helpful.
Besides, he was humorous. And the price was very reasonable.

Gede is the best guide I have had on my travels! He was always on time, patient if we ran late and made sure we got to see/experience everything we set out to. He was an amazing guide who not only shared so much about the places we visited but also his own experiences as a Balinese local. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience because of all the personal customizations like going to a praying ceremony or making extra stops we really wanted to check out. He even jammed with us on Bollywood music in his car! Gede felt like a friend from the get go. We got him for a full day Ubud tour, a full day east Bali tour and a Tanah Lot sunset. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Made Dodi and Gede!

After many years we were finally able to travel to Bali again and our friend Dodi picked us up, as always, everything worked perfectly, everything went super smooth he was super punctual and we were all very happy to see each other again. The car is super big and super neat it looks like new from inside and outside. On our way to Ubud he made an extra stop so we could eat something. The service is unbeatable and you can feel the credo "Travelling with friends". Everyone who comes to Bali should book Dodi, whether it's a couple, family with children or large groups Made Dodi takes care of everything and ensures that the holiday will be awesome. we have chosen already for the second time for a round trip on bali. this time we where 2 families travelling across the island. we had twitter drivers Batur and Gede. Gede was driving most of the tours.

Booking a private driver through the Made Dodi team was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Bali. We messaged the WhatsApp number on their website and were able to really easily jump on the phone to discuss our itinerary and book a private driver.
Our driver was Gede, who we had for 3 separate days on our trip. Gede was amazing - a really warm and homely guy who we felt very comfortable around. He was always on time, and shared a lot of insight on Balinese life with us. He made the process so easy - managing the manic traffic of Bali, finding food, helping us buy tickets and taking photos for us as well. We were able to chop and change plans as needed, and having Gede took away the hassle of getting around and really allowed us to enjoy all that Bali has to offer.

First of all, I wish I could give more stars. Dodi was communicative from the time I found him. He was instrumental in helping me plan my Bali and making my itinerary efficient. Now he had a colleague assist me and 6 other women on the trip. His name is Gede and he made the trip so amazing. He was extremely kind, professional, timely and patient. I’ve probably never came across someone as kind as Gede. He was always stepping out the car to open our door and help us out the car whether it rained or shined. He waited for us every time with a smile on his face. He was either on time or early. We never had to question whether his service for the 8 days we were there was going to be bad. He was EXCELLENT! He knew where to go. He knew the places to recommend. If he felt that going anywhere in particular would not be time efficient, he had a great recommendation. He knows Bali up and down. He even was great with capturing photos and videos. Get you a driver that can do it all. But honestly there’s no need to look anywhere else. This was some of the best service I’ve received in my life and I will always recommend Dodi and Gede! And the price was right…very right.
