Today we visited Ikat Gallery in Kuta and bought a very nice medicine box from Sumatra made from wood and horn. The attendant and owner were nice and friendly and called a cab for us when we left. The shop offers a great amount of traditional items which are very nicely exhibited almost like in a museum. They were always willing to take out items to show and give their views on the item answering any questions we had.

We were window shopping during a visit to Bali and came across this shop. The staff was very nice and answered our questions. There was a mix of textiles and furniture spread over several floors.
