Fun day out for the family
Great day out. Good value for money. Lots of rides & live shows. Lots of photo ops. Food was average. Roof top roller coaster looked amazing. Goes forward & then backwards. Go carts were fun. Everything is new & clean. Some great rides. I loved the mad max adventure ride. First show is traditional Balinese story, which was enjoyable. Second show (magic) was average. The third show was amazing with fire dancers. One ride was closed which was a shame. Went from 11-5 & saw/did everything. Lines were short. Loved the fly over bali ride. Was amazing to see all the beautiful parts of bali.

    Theme park fantastic.
If you are going for the theme park could not recommend it enough it’s a fantastic day great for all ages the shows are brilliant and for $50 it’s great value. But I would advise go straight to the theme park the restaurants & shops downstairs are terrible food is not very nice and customer service especially at the transmart supermarket is disappointing. We had the rudest service ever in all our years visiting Bali at transmart supermarket that we would never return. We ate at a Japanese restaurant it was not good food at all.

Good Experience marred by poor execution of normal vs VIP access
I went to Trans Studio Bali with my family. It is located in Kuta. The ticketing experience was great as I booked it online. However, they have two types of tickets: Normal and VIP. I don't understand why the ticket charges are already higher for an indoor amusement park. What's the need for VIP access with even higher charges? And then the normal ticket holders have to wait until the VIP queue is finished. We waited for two hours, while VIP access was quite fast. If you are willing to spend more, then go for VIP access. I had to cut down the time spent in this amusement park due to the long wait. I was left disappointed as my kids were not able to enjoy it fully. I will avoid it if I am in Bali next time.

Fun day out for all ages
Set in a large Shopping Centre (Mall), Trans studio has something for everyone. From an extreme roller-coaster to kids areas, this place has everything under an air conditioned roof. If the opportunity arises, consider purchasing VIP tickets to skip the long lines and get fast tracked through all the rides. Once finished, there are numerous shops and food outlets to explore.

Visited Trans Studio Theme Park Jan 2020. Entrance fee is costly at 600,000 per person (adults and kids). Compared to other theme parks in Australia this is a small indoor amusement park but does look pretty inside.
The rides (except the roller coaster) were not thrill seeking but ok for kids 8-14 years.
Go karts were good but if there are kids driving on the track they control the top speed and turn it down. We went on several times and only for about a minute we got to experience the fast speed.
The bat glider is the only ride yet to open.
You have to eat food from inside the park as you can’t leave and come back and can’t take any food or drinks in. The food options are very limited. The only option we had was fried chicken, microwaved French fries and microwaved pizza that hadn’t been cooked. It was completely inedible. 78,000 for a single scoop ice cream was also a rip off but at least we could eat that.
As it is quiet, not all shows are running. We watched a few and they were ok.

There’re a couple of reasons for me to give this mall 1 out of 5
stars when comes to rating which I’m going to state them here one by one so all visitors or those who would like to visit this mall would know how poor and bad the management of the mall is:
( I really wish I could have given this mall a zero out of 5stars! )

(1.) Some security guards are quite annoying as well as rude ; especially the guards who are in charge of the back entrance of the transmart department store; they would give you a tag that acts as a lock to be put on the zipper of your backpack. As a customer who visit this store regularly I feel annoyed as it is vey inconvenience for me to ask another security guards who are standing in the front entrance of the transmart store that is situated inside the mall to take the tag out off my backpack. Don’t they have cctv devices everywhere? Don’t they have security alarm doors? I use the back entrance a lot since i5 is near where I live ; furthermore it’s the closet way to the cinema .

(2.) The entire mall shakes whenever the Trans Studio’s Boomerang Coaster moves ; that makes me wonder how good or poor the foundation of the mall is. It shakes as if there’s a tremor or a shock wave caused by an earthquake. If you’re inside the bathroom; it’s even worse as the entire floor shakes quiet violently.

(4.) When I paid my third visit to Trans Studio Theme Park a
visit; the safety seat belt devices attached on the cart of the
roller coaster was not working properly . We were stuck inside the cart for almost 15 minutes after a ride ; none of the crews told us about the technical difficulty. They only gave us a small water bottled.

I am also pissed at two staffs who demanded me to show them my iD while visiting the park. They said I have already visited this park for more than once; they said they wanted to make sure that I am not one of the staff members. I refused to give them my ID as I paid to get in and I came back because n my couple of visits, some of the rides weren’t ready for operation yet.

(5.) On January 16th 2020, there was a small fire incident which caused the neon sign light to catch fire. None of the staffs and visitors were told to evacuate the building. It wasn’t appropriate for them to not instruct mall’s staffs and remaining visitors to abandon the building.

We paid $60 to get in per person (adults and children same price) 4 of the main rides were closed. The roller coaster and the sky jumper rides were open but you have to pay extra to go on these rides which is crap because you’re already paying for so much already. No discount given 4 of the main rides are closed and so that means my kids could only go on 3 other actual rides. What a load of crap. If you’re going to go make sure all the rides are open

The theme park whilst new and clean had horrendous wait times and it was virtually empty. I would hate to think what the wait times look like when the theme park is actually busy. Perhaps managing a theme park is a new thing here however they have no clue on how to manage the queues. On average there are about 2 rides on every attraction per hour so you can easily be waiting 2-3 hours if there are a couple of groups before you. Everything is soooooo slow! The management need to spend some time at Universal Studios or Disneyland to learn about how to run an amusement park.
Gokart was absolute shambles. We were virtually at the front of the queue as there were no crowds, but because the double family karts go every 30 minutes, we gave up after waiting over 90 minutes.
We waited an hour for the flying over Indochina ride (which was spectacular) and again we were the only group there. It’s extraordinary how bad the management of this place is.
The food selection was horrific - Wendy’s, microwaved pizza, and doughnuts.
Tickets are single entry only so you can’t go out into the mall, have lunch and come back.
For those that are used to proper amusement park experiences this will be a major disappointment.

The kids loved the rides even though the 2 they really wanted were not operational but everything else was well below par, the food was low in options and quality with very high price tags.
The two big issues were that you could not get a pass out and there was no way for adults to just view their children without paying a full entrance fee. Maybe a small fee should be added for this to happen.
Overall I believe there will need to be a few changes to make this a must do place to visit.

Saw online that this mall has close to 300 shops (way too exaggerating). In the mall, there is a indoor theme park.

The cost for entering (foreigner) is very expensive as compared to other theme parks. The VIP lane, is not really VIP as you would still have to q at the end. They split the q-line into 2 parts, only get to go in on the first part. Still have to wait at the 2nd q-line which is also quite long.

Attractions and rides are not worth the amount paid (close to $300 Singapore Dollars for 2 adults and 1 child). Some of the rides (roller Coaster) will close when raining.

Most of the staff there speaks Malay and not very proficient in English.

When planning a trip there, better to book a driver for a day, as it is really hard to call Go-Jek/Taxi/Grab in the evening.

Steep prices for a major letdown. The kart racing was the main attraction for my kids, but even with VIP tickets, we waited 45-60 minutes. When they finally got on, the karts were painfully slow due to remote speed control. Huge disappointment for the whole family.

Unfortunately, the rest of the park offered little excitement for anyone over 10, with the exception of the roller coaster

Not very exciting.  Small to medium size.  Clean.  There are some nice shops and a supermarket which didn't really have a great selection despite looking big.  The mall is cool if you want to escape the heat.  Cinema inside too as well as the usual eateries and coffee shops.  Very quiet, hardly anyone around.  August, 2022 with the ongoing C-19 pandemic, masks must be worn inside and security were also checking that you had been vaccinated. I struggled for nearly an hour to get a taxi after I had finished shopping and visiting the cinema. Nobody helped and there were none passing that I coud flag down. Either call one, download a taxi application and order one or there is a hotel nearby to the right where I eventually went. I had to get the reception there to call me one!

We checked online and found the price to be Rp375k, so headed on down and we’re told the price was Rp600k each. We immediately asked why this was the case which caused much confusion and we were referred to the manager who then “made a call” and mysteriously the online price changed to Rp600k. She claimed that nothing had been done re pricing. I’m calling BS on that! What a dodgy place with appalling customer service. Also be careful as not all attractions are included in the price and some are closed. We couldn’t get a clear explanation of what was open or included. Buyer beware
