We used the Bridge to cross and go to the other side of the river and took a boat to return back to the original side of the river. It was awesome journey both ways.

a suspension bridge across the Ganges that gently sways in the wind. A prime attraction in Rishikesh town. offers an unhindered view of the Ganges. Guaranteed to be crowded always.

It's just a short bridge, beggars at either end, and loads of scooters riding across it! Yeah it does give great uncompromised views of the Ganges, but your across in 20 seconds providing you don't get hit by a motorbike! The best bits are the shops either side which are super cool and super cheap!

this is one of the few very old suspension bridges in India though with passage of time many such bridges have come up. a must visit for Rishikesh visitors.

This is one bridge I have heard of and seen in pictures countless times. So it was surreal to actually see it and walk across the Ganges - it goes through cycles when there will be throngs of people on it and then suddenly, nobody but you. Great vantage point to take in the surroundings and the Ganges,

This is the older of the suspension bridges in Rishikesh. A wonderful engineering achievement. Walk across it takes you to the other bank of the Ganges. Here you have got couple of 9 storey temples which are very beautiful. A helpful tip - Beware of monkeys on this bridge! And never try to feed them...

Thank Anupam J
