We were recommended this to see by our guide and were not disappointed. Lots of people, priests chanting and people watching from the river, very atmospheric with the candles floating down the Ganges.

It will be scorching heat throughout the day, although late evenings are pleasant. It ain't humid. However I suggest your kids and parents might get tired roaming in the heat. Select some other month pls.

October will be pleasant but yes crowd will be there more than usual as October will have lot if festival like diwali
