Varanasi springs to life at dawn with the morning aarti at Assi Ghat. A Yoga session follows. There is always a carnival atmosphere here with folk dances and shows. Boats for a ride up and down the river are best taken from here, although they are available at all ghats.

We visited this place on 30th of September 2021 as our flight was late and thank God it was late as there was no plan to visit aasi ghat, we spend more than 2 hours and it's was like 10 minutes we spend.
Holy Ganga view was awesome, very clean and awesome place to visit.

The early AM experience was really awesome at Assi Ghat. They have made an effort to keep it clean and given the fact that it is far from all other ghats, is relatively less populated.

You can take a stroll at early Am and have their black tea and stare the Ganges for obtaining a blissful state 😀

Although all the things in Banaras are wonderful, out of them I like Assi Ghat the most.
This is a place where you can see all the Ghat (River Bank) from this site.
You can freely walk around the ghat and enjoy the panoramic view of the Ganga river.
This a most 2nd Famous ghat in the City after Dashashwamedh ghat.
Here you will see most people come for Morning & Evening Ganga Arti, Also in the evening time, you can enjoy the Indian's cultural programs like classical Dance or live music, Indian Classical Vocal and many more.
Beautiful sunrises and sunset views can enchant you with together you can enjoy the hand bloating along the river.
You must have come to Assi Ghat once to take a beautiful picture full of memories home with you.

A good enjoyable boat ride. The better time to do it is in the evening though. The ghat itself is in urgent need of a cleanliness drive.

Many love it coz its less crowded and easy place to hand out once you are done with all the bazars/alleys and temples. Morning Aarti ( subah e benaras) happens at Assi and its absolute Delight to be at Assi Ghat in the morning.

We had seen it in the morning and again in the evening and witnessed arti ceremony, music and dance too.
Our boat ride too commenced from there. It's a vast sandy beach like area to be there. Many things happen altogether. Don't miss it.

Due to the pandemic , there was almost no one at assi ghat . However , even otherwise I assume it would be quieter than most other ghats as it is far away from the main religious ghat area
