It is a pride to visit an architecture in India, masterminded, planned and constructed under the auspices of a woman Nur Jehan. A legendary female figure in the history of Mughal dynastic kingdom. A female who was the eminent inventor of rose essence and the hunter of tigers, controller of mughal politics and other vicious intrigue, also spent her valuable... More

I loved this! Also called the Baby Taj. The details of the inlay on the side of the building and the frescos and paintings on the inside impressed me more than the Taj Mahal. Much quieter and a lovely view of the river behind.

That is how locals call this imposing structure by the banks of the Yamuna river. Even though it is mausolium it invokes memories of the feelings the royalty and their relatives. well worth a visit.

This is known as the 'baby Taj' and is a very beautiful and interesting monument. The stonework is stunning and it is much quieter than the Taj itself. We really enjoyed it. Our guide gave us some interesting facts about it.

Beautiful place, the inlay work done on the stone is mesmerising. We visited this place around sunset and that made this place look amazing. It's aura go golden at sunset. Better if you get a guide along to make you know about the place as we were pretty clueless, there were no info plates installed anywhere around, neither we found... More

While Taj Mahal is grand and awe inspiring. Itimad Ul Daulah or Babj Taj is beautiful and mesmerizing. It gives me the same effect Little Hagia gave to me in Istanbul. The place is tranquil and quiet. A good idea to spend at the end of the day after a tired day at Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

While smaller than Taj, it it not insignificant. Also being restored. Once can see intricate details on marble.

The baby Taj as it is known is obviously on a much smaller scale than the Taj Mahal and may not be as awe inspiring. However, it is still a beautiful monument in its own rights. Definitely another must-see if you're in Agra, but suggest you see this before the Taj Mahal.

This building is so beautiful. I especially love the inlays into the marble. The designs are gorgeous and the craftmanship is amazing. This is a must see sight when visiting Agra.

This is a complete mini version of Taj Mahal. A lot quieter and peaceful than Taj Mahal. You will notice this is a heaven for young dating couples sitting around the monument having a great afternoon. Worth visiting and lots of chances to take a great photoshoot!
