We went at sunrise (5am) in the low season which meant we had some time to take pics without any other tourists in them. It gets crowded quickly though and by 6.30am there were crowds about. Like everything in India watch out for the lads...More

Visited Taj Mahal after 3 years and it has gone down in looks, maintenance and staff service. It starts with fights at entry gate between auto drivers, pestering guides and then rude ticket booth people and people at security checks. Taj Mahal today is common...More

Travelled to India for business so didn't get to pick an optimal time to visit. Took a one day trip from Delhi. Cloudy and with periods of rain - but that just seemed to make the Taj Mahal appear to glow beautifully under darkened skies....More

It is similar to one in new delhi i would however not recommend this place . It is not well maintained it is sad to see such huge monumnet in such a bad state

No, but it’s very easy to buy tickets at the gate. You won’t miss out I assure you. Lines( if any ) move quickly. It’s open daylight till dusk and definitely worth the trip....

I did but not with my own camera they will use their own camera as they want to sell you the photos it is how they earn a living. If you go with a tour guide they will take photos for you with your camera. I paid about $40... More
