Make sure you join the right que. there are two ques. One for Indians other for foreigners. If you get to the wrong que you will spend extra hours waiting.

plan a trip from Delhi to Udaipur then Jaipur...then Agra to Khajuraho via Agra...finally Khajuraho to Varanasi and then back to delhi

Once you are in, you are in. There are no time limits. I suspect 3 hours will be enough though. No food or drink, with the exception of a bottle of water are allowed inside the grounds. You can take your phone and camera... More

We were there in September in heavy rain and still the view was amazing - Enjoy !
