Shouldn't miss this view from the other side of the Yamuna looking towards the Taj Mahal. Some restoration is occurring to the site presently with hopes of returning the gardens to their previous glory.

This is a great place to visit after you visit the Taj Mahal. It's not as crowded and in a more quiet area. While not as grande, or as well maintained, it provides an important piece of history. The gardens were not super well maintained, but walking through the building and hearing the history behind Mehtab Bagh is why you... More

It is beautiful, though not all that well maintained. The view of the Taj is lovely. You can imagine the setting back in 1700's

This quiet corner of the city, on the other bank of the river, serves as both a garden (which was quite neglected when we visited it) and as a view point of the wonderful Taj Mahal. While the place is lovely, getting there requires a local driver. Watch out for the stray dogs in the area. We noticed quite a... More

Great park from where you can get a great view of the Taj Mahal while enjoying some peace and quiet away from the crowds.

The best view of the Taj Mahal from outside the actual precincts of the monument. This garden is located on the opposite bank of the Yamuna river and offers an unparalleled view of the Taj from its rear side. However, the garden is not properly maintained and is a big letdown. Worth a visit only for the view of the... More

Don't miss this. I've not posted any pictures here of the view from this place, because I want you to go and experience it for yourself. Trust... More

We arrived in Agra in late afternoon and went here for our first view of the Taj Mahal before our next morning visit to the monument. Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden) sprawls north of the Taj, on the opposite side of the Yarnuna River and likely offers excellent photo ops on clear days. But haze embraced the Taj when we were...
