Only deer, monkey and rarely birds you can see here. Even we are not able to find elephants at that time when we visited.

RE juvinating Experience road travel from ooty to Madumalai and back through hills and jungles, Safari is worth the try travelling from metropolitan city to jungle trek a perfect must do, Could not see Lion but could see Peacock full feathered

What you see mostly on the road are lots of deers, lots of peacocks, a few wild elephants, a few boars, a few langurs and the eagles' prey. And I did all of these while heading to the Mudumalai Forest on the road itself. Once...More

It is a national park. it is also a zoo. All types of animals staying here. this is a free place for animals.

You can have the Jungle Safari in the mini buses arranged by the Forest Department. There is no guarantee of seeing any wild animal other than deers , elaphants and monkeys.

Best bet would be to call the office and get their input. The Jeep does bounce around and that might not be goo for such a small baby.
