It is indeed a connection to another time and place. Visiting this church, admiring the interior and reading the quintessentially Colonial memorials I found myself trying to imagine Ooty in the nineteenth... More

We attended the 11 am service on Palm Sunday, a very friendly congregation to the Strangers and such a beautiful architecture. The location of the church on a hill in the center of Ooty makes it a lovely experience. The architecture of the church interiors is stunning, and could get the feel of British era.

I attended Sunday morning 8 AM services and witnessed 30 girls/women resplendent in blazers (whose badges indicated their commitment to 'Purity') along with at least 60 local churchgoers. I believe I was... More

This church is situated above the centre of town, on the Mysore road. It is pale yellow in colour & looks a picture from the front. It is one of the oldest in the Nilgiris region. It dates back to the 1829. It was initially built exclusively for the British. The church is still in use, but sadly the graveyard... More

If there is time to visit church then can be visited, this is not very old and extraordinary place. Plan accordingly.
