Nature at its best.... The area was serene unlike other areas which was really crowded. We visited during early hours of the day so the climate was really cold. The view from the observation centre was awesome though there was no telescopes present. The entry fee was nominal at rs 5 per person.

Highest location in south india . Can see miles all around but was very crowded on day we visited . Mornings would be best time to visit and take tea at the small restaurant .

Great place to be once in Ooty. Its the highest peak in south India. You would feel the clouds, mist on the peak. If lucky you can see the clear view of the Ooty view.

Doddabetta Peak has not been developed as tourist destination. All it has is view of the city and mountains. Nothing else.

The Nilgiris is the meeting point of western and eastern Ghats. Dodabetta is the Highest Peak in South India. Its COOOOL place and quite enjoyable with grand views.

This is probably the highest peak of Nilgiris. This is similar to all the hill views when you visit any hill area.(Nothing Special). The thing which you can enjoy is playing around Nilgiri trees on the way (sideways to road). Could be maintained in more proper way.
