I would prefer going to ooty lake instead but if you have time and want to go for a good drive on a lush green picturous route go for it . Boating isn't that well organised

In Ooty this beautiful lake gives you chillness and freshness to anyone mind and thoughts . Take a speed boat ride to enjoy the lake to go around. Must visit place in ooty.

This place is perfect for boating and not that much crowded as ooty lake. To be honest this is way better than ooty lake and if weather supports you then you can enjoy the bright green color of water. Surroundings are too good and calm....More

Its little far from Ooty, around 20kms I guess. But drive is good. They do have parking area. Not sure will that be enough during peak season. You can do boating, both normal and speed boat options are available. Few food stalls are also present....More

They both are absolutely safe. There is not much activity other than boating on these two lakes. From downtown Ooty, it is an hour's drive, one way to either of these places. Boating would be an hours activity. So, you can... More
