Kindly spare an entire day to visit this temple. Its a place to be adored for its sculptural extravaganza and spiritual experience. Visiting this temple during pooja and aarti will be a good experience to view the "Chidambara rahasyam".

Situated in chidambaram, this is one other temple in TN symbolizing Pancha Bootha Sthalam “Sky” element. The place was a little crowded when we visited. Its located in the main city only easily accessible to public

Travelled about 400 kms from south and reached chidambaram to visit the temple, after a sudden decision.. there are many mysteries behind this temple... wonders about hindu religion, tamil culture and language, and even the answer for the word, "god" could be revealed, if the mysteries behind this temple comes out.

We called at this Temple on the way to Tanjore and enjoyed the visit. It was very busy with Indian families as it was one of the Pongal days in Tamil Nadu. The Hindu Temples in this area are well worth seeing and quite a few are stunning

Very colourful and one of the most important temples to see. Really crowded and dirtier than other temples though and we felt like there were more priests than anywhere else who kept asking for money at very corner and wouldn't budge even though we had given a decent amount just before !
