Nice garden to visit when you are in Udaipur. It is not a must do place but if one wants to go away from other over crowded tourist spots then this should be considered. Just a short drive away from City Palace, ticket prices are reasonable for Indians, only INR 20. The garden is well maintained and although not big, it is possible to spend an hour here enjoying the mostly tranquil surroundings. The fountains are okay but nothing spectacular. Originally built by a Maharaja for his Queens, it is still attracting locals along with tourists. Just remember it closes by 5 pm.

Gardens are very well maintained and it's worth relaxing here for some time if you are not in a hurry. For people who want to get clicked in traditional Rajashtnai dress, this place is a good option. Central fountain area is not well maintained and the entire charm of visiting this beautiful garden goes for a toss when you see that. Just wonder why the local authorities don't beautify this part of the garden !!

A popular garden in Udaipur, Saheliyon ki Bari, is known for its stunning fountains and lush green lawns. Located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, this large garden was built in the 18th century by king Sangram Singh for the royal women of the palace. Legend says that it was designed by the king himself for his queen and the garden was often visited by the queen along with her friends and maids. And hence, its name refers to saheliyon (friends). The garden has a spectacular pavilion of rain fountains and elephant-shaped fountains in white marble that were imported from England. The main reservoir has four black marbled stands in the corners and one white marbled kiosk at the centre.The garden also houses a museum that displays a huge collection of royal household items. You can also experience the Culture of Rajasthan wearing traditional clothes and getting clicked. We got a couple of pictures clicked for our Kids and cost around Rs.300/- Rating it 4 as they really need to improve their Washrooms as its quite smelly and untidy with no arrangements for Soaps.

Said to be an exclusive place built for the Royalty in the yesteryears, this well designed garden is a welcoming and relaxing place for locals and tourists alike. Very popular among the visitors, the garden is an epicenter of photo shoots. Good for a couple of hours.

Sahelion Ki Bari, a secret garden built just for relaxation, way back in the 1700s. It's near a pretty lake, and the whole place is filled with beautiful flowers, soft grass, and sparkling fountains. There are even cool elephant and lion statues carved from marble! But the most incredible thing is the fountains - almost 2,000 of them, all working without any pumps! They must create the most relaxing water sounds, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the palace.

As the title says.. it's just ok.. I mean.. have I seen a better garden.. definitely yes.. But this one is unique in the way it's made with mewadi architecture..there are some fountain that work with echo n all.. but again I visited this coz I was near the place ..I may not cover distances to visit this.
