We went for the puppet show and found it more of a local dance show than a puppet show. For this reason, it went from a 4->3 in my mind. The dance show was interesting enough and worth going out of your way to see.

The only interesting part is the exhibition of turbans. The rest pretty boring. If you want to take a break from the noisy streets maybe this is the place...

A good place. Nice quaint show displaying the cultural beauty & history of Rajasthan. They give you the background of the play / dance in english as well as hindi.. before every play / dance. Very professionally run.

Every evening from 7-8 pm make sure to visit this place to watch the taditionale dance and puppet show. It is really amazing which you will not see in any other city.

This place is situated in the banks of Lake Pichola and has a museum. But I highly recommend this place for the cultural show which gets kicked off during evening. This one hour show is worth every rupee and will blow your mind with the amazing performances.

Bet part of our Udaipur trip was the folk dance show at 7pm here. The group dances performed by ladies were a new experience for us. They show traditional dance firms and puppet show during this one hour. It was very crowded by the time the show began. Make sure you reach early and get your comfortable seats inside. There... We were running late from our visit to the city palace, so only made there in time for the cultural show in the arvo. One thing to note, we found the ticket counter gets set around 6:15pm, and people start coming in to queue from right around 6. So you will be best positioned if you come in around 6... More

Fantastic, one is a kind...The show is inside an old haveli that's almost in ruins but that adds it's own flavor to the ambience! The audience was only half Indian but we were all hooting and cheering at the end of it... The show is compered by an enthusiastic teenager, the highlight for sure is a 70 year old danseuse... More

I do not understand how this has such a high rating. Overall the dancing is amateur at best and consists of repetitive motifs. Should be renamed "spinning in circle dance with bells around the ankles and a puppet show at the end". The highlight is a 70 year old woman walking around with multiple pots over her head. However, you... More
