Lots of animals such as monkeys, two types of deer, sloths, birds, peacocks, leopards and the very elusive Bengal tigers. The tigers are nocturnal so sightings are rare and brief but there are around 25 in the public areas. It's a bumpy ride no matter...More

Stayed 2 nights at Sher Bagh and toured the park. Our guide tried to pre-empt where we would see tigers based on recent sighting from the wardens out on the grounds in the park. Despite this we didn't get to see any tigers but saw...More

We took part in three tiger safaris. Two early morning and one afternoon. We were lucky enough to see Krishna, an experience we shall never forget. Drivers and especially our guide "Kenny" were excellent.

This is an absolute must see place if you are visiting Ranthambhore. Take a private jeep for better sightings of the tigers.

We visited three times but did not see a Tiger, but quite a few in other vehicles / zones did see. However the other wildlife and scenery make it worthwhile. The scenery in Zone 1 is very special.

We were lucky to see a tiger pretty close on our first "jeep safari" into the park on the afternoon of our arrival. It was a 3 1/2 year old named "Pac-man". I appears that the guides know and have names for the tigers. The...More

I have returned home with very mixed feelings about my visit to the park. My one aim for my trip to India was to see a tiger in the wild. I've visited various parts of Africa and never been disappointed, but Ranthambore left me disillusioned....More
