Reserve: no matter what zone you get ...tiger sighting totally depend s on your luck. You can either book directly online or book through the agent outside the booking center ..who would charge only 100 rs extra per person. In that case a canter cost would be 650 ( the original cost being 550) and 850( 750 original price) for... More

To go on safari - or go through the park looking for tigers - it costs 12000 rupees. I hear 10000 of that goes to the park - but it sure doesn't look like it. The roads are terrible and will leave your back feeling like you've been in an accident. We didn't see many animals when we went but... More

I went on a safari not expecting to see much. I was pleasantly surprised. We saw lots of deer, a sloth bear, antelope, monkeys, a crocodile, various birds, and a tiger. The latter walked in between the jeeps, totally ignoring us. I wish that I had had longer to spend in the park. Be warned that you will get covered... More

We had 2 safaris into the park in search of tiger. The park is divided into sections that are allocated to the safari drivers each trip. We unfortunately got the same section twice. We did not find tiger but did come across a bear. The wildlife and bird life was interesting and varied. A good guide who can identify varieties... More

If you like wildlife and safaris this is a must. The National Park is a credit to India. It is well run and has made a huge effort to develop and protect its wildlife - especially its tigers. The park is good for large mammals, birds and of course big cats. Depending on the time of year you stand differing... More

I am really excited to share our 2 days trip with our friends of 25 couples where we stayed at Tiger Den Resort. We explored the full amazing view of the resort and next day enjoyed the sunrise in chilly winter then subsequently went for safari in the morning. A rough ride through hills amidst chilly wind- a must do... More

We didn't see tigers over 2 days - but were lucky enough to see one OUTSIDE the park! Of the park, however, the views can be breathtaking. Generally, though, the guides seem both uninterested and disinterested. They were remarkably ignorant of the local flora and fauna. Booking (including pre-booking) was a shambles. I'm sorry I don't have any advice on... More

Could sight a tigress with 3 cubs. Otherwise also the forest is beautiful. Coulsdon see lots of other rare species. Jeep safari is a real thriller.

Although we loved seeing the tigers and had 3_4 sightings , enough has been said about tigers. It's the other parts of the jungle that are truly mesmerising. Zone 2 I think it was. Starts off with a drive down a road with a huge rock face on the left and trees hanging over the road. Straight out of the... More
