The way things are run seems extremely unorganized. That being said, my actual Safari experiences were lovely and I would recommend going.

This is one the Best place for tiger sighting in India. Preferred gates for safari are 2,3 and 6. Good chances to sight a Tiger and if you are lucky, you may find 3-4 tigers.

Difficult in one go. We recently went via Agra but not in one day - took a car from Agra to Bharatpur Station (hour - hour and a half) where you can get a direct train to Sawai Madhopur, adjacent to the park.

Hi, yes, you can take a train from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur and then take a taxi. But we took a car with driver from Delhi to Ranthambore Park. You can book a driver using the services of a government run travel agency!
