kumbhalgar fort is nice place to visit for vacations..specially the audio and light show is must watch attraction in kumbhalgar fort visit..but the place is very crowdy during diwali vacations...so better to go in regular days if u truly want 2 enjoy the place...

You could - at a push - but Kumbalgarh fort and the Ranakpur temples are so magnificent that it is worth giving yourselves plenty of time to see them properly without rushing so that you can soak up the atmosphere.

We did not see the light and sound show but I don't think there is a need to stay in Kumbalgarh overnight. Better to return to Udaipur afterwards
