A lake and memorial of the royal family. Exquisite marble workmanship, nicely maintained lawns and view of the city.

Seeing sunlight coming through the translucent white marble is just beautiful. Stunning cenotaph and tranquil gardens and lake on a hill overlooking Jodhpur.

Exquisite memorial & other small cenotaphs close to Jodhpur fort. The main memorial is a lovely piece of architecture with a beautiful interior. the smaller cenotaphs are simpler in structure & on a much smaller scale. Nice well tended gardens. A place to spend a...More

It may seem a slightly odd thing to do - visit a cremation site and memorials to deceased local royalty, but it's actually one of the loveliest spots we visited on our trip to India. Apparently the favoured spot of the Maharajah Jaswanth to practice...More

It was hard to properly enjoy this attraction as it was full of people. I'd appreciate some signage to explain the history of the building.

Went with lots of expectations. However there is nothing much to see. Please visit only if you have spare time else spend more time on Mehrangad fort, that's worth.

If u seen from a distance its looks like somebody put it white crown over there. This is memory of Maharaja(king) Jaswant singh ji 2nd, he was dead in 1895 and after his wife built beautiful memorial memory of lovely husband.

A 5 min walk from the fort. Takes 15-30 mins to go around the place. Built as a tomb for the king and his family.

Quite close, on the same road. Thada is before fort and you would visit first on the way up. Since fort walls are closed off after tourist doing a selfie died, you get better views of surroundings area from Thada.
